I am not a morning person. But one of my favourite times to run is early in the morning: when the pavements are still quiet, when I am too bleary-eyed to protest.
This past Friday, I decided to venture down Orchard Road to get a dose of Christmas; without the crowds.

Leaving you with one of my favourite songs as we prepare for the season.
I love a morning run when the world is silent around me.
Thank you for the pingback!

Indeed. Although I have to admit that it’s hardgoing to find a route near me (in the heart of the city) for complete silence. I will settle for mostly quiet & peaceful.

Oh, so nice! And I love having a blogging friend in Singapore, which sounds and looks very exotic to this Mainer.

For me all shopping areas are best when there are no crowds. Usually means the shops are shut too β so no impulse spending either.

That’s my favourite way to view shops too! I’m not a great shopper – being around crowds deflates me). Thankfully, Loving Husband loves to shop, so he does so on my behalf.

I totally get that. The Big T isnβt a shopper either, so internet shopping was made for us.

I don’t even like internet shopping, to be honest, so I am very glad Loving Husband loves to shop in all spheres!

A morning run is an amazing way to start the day. I usually run trails so it definitely increases the chances of wildlife spotting.

Hi – I too, love my morning walks. For me, it is easier to walk first thing in the morning, even though it is getting colder here, because there aren’t any people around and I don’t have to keep putting on my mask. (We have a mask mandate here in Massachusetts.) I am all for the mandate, if it helps keep us safe, but it is hard to wear one when exercising.
Love the Christmas pictures too!
