I love cake. I love pineapple. And because we are still celebrating the Chinese New Year (until 26 February), I was favoured with a delightfully light, fruity Pineapple Chiffon Cake, with handmade pineapple “flowers”. An artistic bake.
Delicious artistry gifted by Baking Maestro Friend, who also is one of the persons responsible for our favourite Banh Mi style sandwich shops, Rebel Gurl.

It was indeed! And it kept very well – it was rather large so we took some time to finish it (even though we shared it with some friends as well)

I’ve never had it sliced quite so thin – usually in chunks. Quite a different experience.
