This year’s Light to Night festival is understandably smaller and subdued (no street food or live performances). But the Civic District still has historical buildings excitingly lit.

It’s difficult to capture the ambience and vibes created by the projected images on these majestic buildings. I do hope you will, in fact, get to see it in person!

I don’t know what they looked like live, but you have captured them beautifully.

Hi Ju-Lyn, Wonderful photos. Yes, more please.
Welcome to our weekend coffee share. I think you’ll find that this a a pretty great group. There are a lot of new voices around this virtual coffee table with Natalie taking the torch at the new year, but so far, everyone I’ve met has been warm and friendly.
Regarding a happy ping-back, I create fun short stories of growing up and I have one that makes everyone smile who reads it. All my DOT stories are 10 minutes or less so they’re easy to enjoy.
This one goes back to when I was very young and my sister was very – very ill, but everything turned out just fine including a serious misunderstanding my dad left me with. Here’s the link:

Am so glad you share in my delight, Laurie. Botero’s sculptures were among the first I fell in love with – there is something so pleasing about the curves and the light. I want to hug them.

That’s lovely! We have something like that – Vivid – but it got cancelled last year. Hoping it goes ahead this year!
