Istana Park is a little oasis at one end of Orchard Road. It is my turnaround point when I run down this shopping street to enjoy the wide boulevards. I pop in here to catch my breath in the greenery before heading home.

What a lovely place to run. The greenery makes me think of indoor rainforest gardens that we’ll see at museums and botanical gardens here. The smell inside of those is wonderful – lush and green. As it gets colder and wetter here I really appreciate images like this!

It is a bit of a magical spot – considering that it is a relatively small green space and it has 2 major roads on either side of it!
