Thinking about Shadows for Friendly Friday Photo Challenge, hosted by Sandy at TheSandyChronicles & Amanda at SomethingToPonderAbout, brought back memories of our last trip to Ipoh in January earlier this year.
Travel, like shadows, will be illusive for a while. Meanwhile, we turn to our memories & archives to sustain us.
Feature photo is taken in Old Town Ipoh on one of our morning runs.
Ipoh looks interesting, Ju-Lyn.

Ipoh is a place I’ve heard a lot of but never visited. I think a large percentage of Singaporeans have roots there? I remember an ‘uncle’ telling me thatthe best pomelos come from Ipoh but i shouldnt over eat because itd give me tummy aches 😉

My parents-in-law were both from Ipoh, hence the connection and frequent visits.
Ipoh pomelos are rather good; we also like the pink fleshed Thai pomelos very much.

Love those pictures! My daughter saw the last one and said, “They rainbow-tized the houses!”
