The Changing Seasons: March 2019

Aren’t these monkeys a scream? I caught sight of them hanging about: chilling, grooming each other, as I ran towards Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. I didn’t get much time to hang about this month, though unlike these cheeky critters. March was filled with Younger Daughter’s many birthday celebrations & lots of baking.

Younger Daughter turned 19 early in the month. As is her tradition, celebrations began early in the month, continuing right through the end of the month.

We had some good baking done this month … bagels on constant supply, and finally, a successful walnut bread; plus a Bake Sale thrown in.

The month unfortunately ended on a traumatic note. My Dad was warded into the ICU on 30 March. It was a week of scary panic, but he is home now and recuperating steadily; we are cautiously optimistic at this point.

Hope you’ve had a good start to April. See you in a few weeks for the next edition of Β The Changing Seasons.

    1. Thanks Su. A month or so down the road, I am happy to report he has regained his original strength and health, and is working hard at his Physical Therapy to improve his lung capacity even further! Thank you for the positive thoughts and well wishes!
