Twilight Blue

My days are often shaped by the ebb & flow of the needs & schedules of Loving Husband & Two Daughters. I was delighted when I was able snatch an evening walk through the Singapore Botanic Gardens yesterday. A magnificent, unusually blue twilight sky greeted me, along with the crepuscular insects singing their songs. I am awed & reminded of how breaking out of one’s routine can bear such astonishing surprises.

Yet another exciting treat yesterday was finding out that my poem was accepted for this month’s edition of Visual Verse: Anthology of Art & Words. The visual prompt is coincidentally a very appropriate contribution to  Blue, One Word Sunday Challenge hosted by  by Debbie at TravelwithIntent.

So thrilled to be included in this month’s Visual Verse: Anthology of Art & Words

As I consider things crepuscular & blue, this song comes to mind. Enjoy!

This post is dedicated to Older Daughter & to Su at zimmerbitch for introducing & supporting my learning of crepuscular.
